LAMB CENTER FOR ARTS AND HEALING.
EMERGENCY RESPONSE
As the world changes, we change with it.
Since March 2020, Lamb Arts has risen to meet the most pressing needs of our community, as they arise. In the Spring of 2020, Lamb Arts developed 550 Creative Distancing Kits that were distributed to children receiving free lunch throughout Hopewell, Prince George, and Sussex Counties. Kits included a Creative Workbook with prompts submitted from artists, therapists, and educators from around the country, art supplies, toilet paper, soap, and a KN95 reusable face mask.
Additionally, Lamb Arts is proud to have established a Mini-Art Studio in the John Randolph Medical Center Hospital, offered free online teen classes, established the #stayhomehopewell campaign, provided art materials for 640 back-to-school art kits, supplied gift cards to our local art teachers for their personal use and work, and kept an on-going stock of books and art supplies in our community's Free Little Libraries.
And that's just the beginning. We know that the arts are more important now than ever - and we will keep doing our part to make this difficult time a creative one for our community.
If you are in a position to help make this change, and change like it possible, please consider a financial gift to Lamb Arts.
Lamb Arts' COVID-19 Response is made possible through the generous support of the Cameron Foundation, Individual Donors, and Breeze-In. Thank you! We couldn't do this work without you.
