One City, One Hope

ONE CITY, ONE HOPE

“One City, One Hope” is a collaborative project between Lamb Arts and the spiritual leaders of our community. Through the “One City, One Hope” project, Lamb Arts has asked faith groups across Hopewell to light a candle in prayer for the unity and healing of our city. This blessed wax was then collected from churches across denominations and combined into one unit that was used to create prayer candles for our community.

These candles were then distributed to attendees of the 2023 National Day of Prayer Service in Ashford Civic Plaza.

We would like to the Organization of Churches and Concerned Citizens for their support of this project as well as the following participating churches:

If you would like a candle of your own, while supplies last, please reach out to info@lambarts.org. Candles are available at no cost, but donations are appreciated to help offset costs.

If you would like to contribute but aren't sure how much to give, Lamb Arts suggests a donation of $7 per candle.
